You're on this website for a reason.  You've got a problem and you're looking to solve it.  Your house or building needs painting and you're looking for something that LASTS LONGER than paint.  That's our guess.

If we're correct, then you've come to the right place.  Historically, you've probably hired a painter who's recommended a certain brand of paint (mainly because he's got a line of credit with that paint store!).  You're reluctant to suggest a brand of paint because "he's the expert" - right?  He finishes the job, you've paid him and he then says "I'll see you in three years!"  Ha!  Or should you be crying instead?  You actually get another year out of it (the weather's been nice to your house) but you repeat the process again.

Is this the way you want to continue?  Can we suggest a better way?

Hire Your Paint Before You Hire Your Painter.TM

Note:  Liquid Ceramic is not available for purchase in some areas of the United States due to exclusive relationship with dealers.

How often have you heard a house painter say "I build my business on repeat customers?"  How is that possible?  Simple:  He uses watered-down paint (with nationally known paint labels) that spreads-out so thin (400 square feet per gallon!) that it yields a minimal DFT (dry film thickness) of only 1.2 - 1.5 mils thick.  How thick is that?  Well, if he put TWO coats of this "nationally known premium brand" on your house, it would only yield a thickness of 3 mils (PHONE BOOK PAPER THICKNESS!).  So how COULD it last more than a few years?  Therefore, your painter is ANTICIPATING paint failure and looks forward to seeing you again down the road.

Liquid Ceramic® Exterior Wall Coating on the other hand yields a DFT of 10 mils when coated twice.  That's equal to the thickness of a PHONE BOOK COVER.  ASTM testing shows that two coats of our product does not allow water penetration.  Why is this important?  Because water is any paint or coating's NUMBER ONE ENEMY.  Every 4-6 weeks, most areas of our country get hit with a pretty good storm.  That rain is blown upwards and sideways into your home.  With ordinary paint, rain will simply penetrate and stay inside your wall cavity.  Water is the chief ingredient in promoting mold and mildew inside your walls.  Give mold and mildew a food source (e.g. cellulose fiber from your wood) and you can expect problems eventually.

What's With The Bouncing Basketball?

The bouncing basketball you see at the top right of this web page represents water trying to penetrate the wall, yet it allows water vapor (represented by the green grapes) to escape with an amazing perm rate of 20!  Read this testimonial from one of our happy homeowners who experienced three hurricanes in Florida in 2004.

Quite Possibly . . . the best exterior building & house paint made!

Liquid Ceramic® is categorized as an "exterior high performance elastomeric coating" by the Master Painter's Institute's List of Approved Products.  Two coats of our product on your home or building will last 3-5 times longer than paint.  Liquid Ceramic® differs from paint in that it is simply not a paint.  Liquid Ceramic® not only beautifies and renews your home or building's appearance, but protects them as well.  It has the same "look" as paint, tints like paint, but lasts much, much longer.

Sold in some stores . . . you can also buy direct from us!

Used throughout the world as a high performance architectural coating for all types of buildings, from homes to high-rises ... Liquid Ceramic® Exterior Wall Coat is now available for direct purchase by consumers, painters and builders alike.  Developed in the early 1960's and improved upon since then, it has stood the real test of time.

Why Buy the Product Yourself?  Honestly, if you don't do what's best for your home, no one will.  You'd think your painter would look after your interests, but his interest is, again, to gain your "repeat business."  He wants to come back in 3-5 years and paint your house again.

Again:  Hire Liquid Ceramic® and then hire your painter.  It's that simple.  If you're reluctant to measure the square footage of your house or building, then ask your painter to measure it for you.  Unless you know the square footage, you won't know how much to order (we cover about 100 square feet per gallon).

Spend Some Time on This Website - It Will Greatly Benefit You!

We realize that reading about paint is about as exciting as watching it dry, however, if you spend 15 minutes on this website, exploring the various links, educating yourself about our product, you'll know to ask the right questions when getting quotes from other painters.  We hope that you then come back to us and purchase Liquid Ceramic® directly.  And if you don't like spending a lot of time on the computer screen, you're welcome to contact us directly at 1-800-466-2691.  We'll be happy to LISTEN TO YOU and address your concerns.

CONSUMER WATCH:  About Those "Never Paint Again" Companies:  Before you buy, ask 1) is their product on the MPI List of Approved Products (www.PaintInfo.com), 2) how long has the product been out, and 3) can you apply it yourself?  You're getting ready to spend a lot of money and we want you to make the right decision.  Chances are, they won't let you buy their product.  They only sell the APPLICATION of their product at very inflated prices!

Also, we're aware there are companies who try to replicate ours, or say its "virtually the same as Liquid Ceramic®" but the reality is - there's only one Liquid Ceramic® product on the market.  Some companies even claim "liquid ceramic" is a generic term, but a quick search on the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office's website (www.uspto.gov) will reveal that only one firm holds the registered trademark (No. 2665220) to the name - - Liquid Ceramic International, Inc.  We are the benchmark for high performance coatings and we are willing to sell our product directly to you. (Certain areas of the U. S. are restricted due to exclusive dealership relationships. We will advise if that is the case.)

With regard to finding a decent painter, we suggest going to www.PDCA.org and clicking on the "Find a Pro" button to get a qualified painter.  This is the website for the 115-year old Painters and Decorator's Contractor's Association.  It's in your best interest to USE THE BEST PRODUCT on the market and have it APPLIED BY THE BEST PAINTING FIRM in your area.  You'll spend a little more but your long-term painting costs will be less.

Tinting:  Because our product is not ready to apply until it is tinted (assuming you'd prefer a color other than white), we utilize local paint stores to stock and tint our product. If our product is not available/stocked in any paint store in your area, we can ship it to you and any local paint store can tint it to the color of your choice.  We will advise them if necessary.  Typically though, if you hire a painter to apply this product, the painter should be able to handle your color tinting.

LiquidCeramicDirect.com is designed to allow you to directly purchase Liquid Ceramic®.  You can also order using any major credit card by calling 800-466-2691, use the CONTACT US link at left, or simply e-mail us at LiquidCeramic@aol.com

More About the MPI.  Being listed on the MPI List of Approved Products is NOT an endorsement.  It's simply an indication that we are what we say we are.  MPI has evaluated certain characteristics about our product (elongation, tensile strength, recovery, accelerated weathering, low temperature flexibility, moisture vapor transmission, resistance to wind driven rain, alkali resistance, fungus resistance and volume solids) and categorizes us accordingly.  MPI is dedicated to the establishment of quality standards and quality assurance in the architectural painting and coating application industry.

Below is the MPI logo and link to their website. We invite you to go to their website and recognize their importance.  As a Canadian standard used by the U. S. Government for specifying paints and coatings, hardly any professional paint specification comes without an MPI reference.  On the MPI website, you'll find Liquid Ceramic® listed and you won't find any other "never paint again" product listed!
